After more than a month, I finally got to see my colleague-cum-mum, YI EN, when the QA bunch visited her today. I was thrilled to see her and my brother, RAY, who she gave birth to. He is so cute; I felt like pinching his cheek today, but I couldn’t lay my hands on it as I am scared he may be intimidated.

After that gathering, I rushed to school for my very first lesson in PSB Academy. I felt a dilemma in me was coming – one part of me was hesitant to go to school, and the other was so excited to head school again. Nonetheless, I still follow that the latter part of me wanted. The first module is statistics. I remember I never liked the module when I was in NUS, but now I guess I started to understand the module better. Perhaps I didn’t attend most of the math lectures when I was in NUS. HAHA! I played truancy in university. It is very common, so it is not much of a big deal about it.

I went home after the lecture. However I was caught in a traffic jam. I wondered what is so great about looking at the accident scene when Singaporeans drive through it. They stopped in trying to see where can they helped or they just want to look at the digits on the crashed cars in hoping they might get a fortune from it? ARGGHH!

I am reading SIDNEY SHELDON’s autobiography – The Other Side of Me. I was glued to it after reading the first chapter when he wanted to commit suicide when he was 17 due to the Great Depression; however the plan was dashed when his dad came back in the nick of time. I hasn’t finished the book yet, since I borrowed it yesterday. From what I stopped, his life was pretty much excruciating to live in, with heavy debts and family problems. He worked so much from the age of 17 till 24. Gosh, whenever I stopped reading it, I couldn’t help to reflect about what I am going through right now. If he was able to face so many problems at such a young age, I should be able to do it too.

I’ve never find autobiographies so interesting and motivating. Perhaps I should start borrowing some to read. And of course I will have to choose wisely; don’t expect me to read PARIS HILTON’s. I still remember she couldn’t spell words to be hanged on the billboard in her reality show, The Simple Life. Eventually she posted “SPERM BURGER” on it. It was so bimbotic and hilarious. SPERM BURGER, anyone? HAHA!
